May 16, 2022 Golf Classic a Big Success

The 14th Annual Golf Classic Tournament at Santa Ana Country Club on May 16, 2022 exceeded all expectations for MVAT’s first-ever event in Orange County, California. Among the highlights was the presence of three recipients of the Medal of Honor: Col. Jack Jacobs, Lt. Col. Will Swenson, and SSgt. Clint Romesha. Funds raised benefit our Heroes Linked program, furthering post-service career prospects for America’s veterans and their families. In keeping with MVAT tradition, the Opening Ceremony featured a Color Guard from the Southern California Army Recruiting Battalion and a tribute to MVAT’s late founder and long-time Chairman Don Schwarz, a tireless champion of the Golf Classic, and those who have served our country and their families.

The Post-Play Reception, sponsored by Econ One Research and EmployeeMetrics, was a fitting cap to the day and featured a presentation involving the Medal of Honor recipients, raffle drawings, and golf awarding prizes.

We continue to hear from participants telling us that the 2022 tournament was the best yet. View the foursomes.

We are incredibly grateful for the incredible support from COLLECTT memorabilia, Golden Road Brewing, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

The evening before the tournament, a private reception and dinner for our tournament sponsors was held at Santa Ana Country Club featuring a program with the three Medal of Honor recipients. View the Step-and-Repeat photos.

Of course, none of it would be possible without our sponsors:
