Partnership with LAPD Continues to Thrive, Spurring Veteran Transition for Meaningful Post-Service Careers

The partnership between Heroes Linked (HL) and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) continues to grow, offering veterans nationwide a unique opportunity to transition into a career with one of the country’s most veteran-supportive law enforcement agencies.

This collaboration highlights the LAPD’s commitment to hiring former service members and ensures they receive the guidance, mentorship, and resources needed for a successful transition.

Most recently, six LAPD officers—each a military veteran—completed their Heroes Network Advisor videos, sharing personal stories and advice to inspire others considering the shift from military service to law enforcement.

These videos are introductions to invite communication requests on the Heroes Network platform so interested veterans can gain firsthand insight into the challenges and rewards of serving in the LAPD.

With a strong tradition of discipline, leadership, and a commitment to service, veterans bring unique strengths to law enforcement. LAPD recognizes this and has built a culture that values and actively supports those who have served in uniform.
