Golf Classic Drives Crucial Funds for Heroes Network
The 16th Annual Heroes Linked Golf Classic on June 24 was a triumph, thanks to our sponsors' incredible generosity. Their support allowed more than 20 combat-wounded veterans to join the fun, and the funds raised that day will significantly enhance the Heroes Network program, providing post-service career opportunities for veterans and their families. The event was further elevated by the participation of Medal of Honor recipients LTC (ret.) Will Swenson and CSM (ret.) Gary Littrell, who serve on our Board of Advisors and Board of Directors, respectively.
For the first time, the Golf Classic, made possible by our Tournament Sponsor Bank of America, was held on the stunning Ike Course at Industry Hills Golf Club in the City of Industry, Calif. This unique venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for the event, which kicked off with a patriotic Opening Ceremony featuring a Color Guard from the Los Angeles Army Recruiting Battalion.
The day concluded with a Post-Play Reception and Dinner, sponsored by EmployeeMetrics, featuring Medal of Honor presentations and a thrilling live auction.
